Accuracy matters more to us than speed. If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.

Our corrections policy

• Factual errors are corrected promptly in the explainer.
• Each correction is noted at the bottom of the explainer with the date and what changed, and the “last updated” date is updated.
• Status updates (for example, a bill passing a committee) are routine updates, not corrections, and are reflected in the “last updated” date.
